6 Days Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Climb
Marangu Route

The Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the oldest and most established path on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the only route offering dormitory-style sleeping huts with mattresses and pillows (sleeping bags must be brought by climbers). Favored for its gradual slope and direct path, Marangu is considered the easiest route, though its shorter duration makes altitude acclimatization challenging. The route approaches Kilimanjaro from the southeast and is a two-way path for ascent and descent, making it the most crowded route.
